Google and Facebook, the giant tech companies are looking to lose the curb on the restriction imposed by the companies due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Facebook earlier asked its employees the proof of booster shots to enter in office premises in the office but currently, it also lifts the curb to not allow booster shots.
A spokesperson of Facebook said on Friday that the social media giant company said to their employees to come to the office with proof of booster dose, while the company monitored the Omicron Variant situation.
She said “We update our requirements in early March to align with CDC guidance, and now Covid-19 boosters are no longer required for entry, though strongly recommended. The primary vaccination requirements (1 or 2 shots series) remain in place,” said Tracy Clayton, Meta spokesperson.
Last month, Twitter’s New Chief Prayag Agrawal said the company will open offices globally in March but will also let people work remotely if they wish.

Agrawal said in a series of tweets “Business travel is effective immediately, and all global Twitter offices will open starting on March 15th, Agrawal added, “Wherever you feel most productive and creative is where you will work and that includes WFH (work from home) full time forever.”
